Quick update from the long range nationals at Lower Light rifle range, South Australia. NDRC Captain Aron Horder reports, 29 August 2024.
Day 1 .
I managed to win the first range but had a poor shoot in 50kph winds in the second detail. The third detail was called off due to safety concerns due to the excessive wind.
Day 2.
Managed to keep it together for all 3 ranges , didn't win any but stayed consistent.
Currently running 2nd, 6 points behind the leader with 4 details to go , one being a 20 shot 1100m detail.
Saturday, 31st August, will be the start of the nation teams event and will conclude on Sunday.
